Dear Reader,
I just had a realization:
I write in insane quantities.
And that’s admirable—not embarrassing.
So often when I sit to write these letters, I feel some sense of rising shame about it, as if I’m writing too many of them or something and that I should tone it down.
Too hell with that!
I’m guessing that every great writer got to where they are by writing—and writing a hell of a lot.
So I’m just gonna keep ding dong doing it!
Ah—now that’s a welcome a perspective shift.
So anyways…
There’s not a whole lot going on today.
I slept through an online meditation class I was hoping to take in the morning, which made me really sad.
Then I went to my usual yoga class at 11:30.
From there, it was a meandering, intuitive and creative day—exactly what I need to recharge on the weekends.
I ended up revamping my WordPress Blog, which is where I’m typing out this entry, instead of Substack.
Just a feeling—we’ll see if I stick to it.
I’m write this one at Miranda’s house after we had Chinese Food, which I picked up on my way home from grabbing floss at Walgreen’s.
(At this point, I should probably start easing into the habit of calling Miranda’s house my house, because in truth it is starting to hit that point. I’m starting to bring my own set of keys around and everything).
Our partnership is continuing to unfold in such miraculous and perfect ways.
I’ll be extremely surprised if this is not the person I spend the rest of my life with.
Everything changed, and I mean everything, when I found my spiritual teacher—and the relationship with Miranda really started to flower soon after that.
I look forward to writing more about all that soon.
And in the meantime, I think we’ll call it here for today.
My weekly Monday skate vlog routine is likely to be interrupted by rainy weather, so I’m likely to go film at a skatepark tomorrow to get a quick video done.
I also have another one of those meditation classes early tomorrow, and funny enough, even though I expected I would be, I feel like I’m just not being pulled to it.
We’ll see.
Excited to catch up more soon.
Love you guys!
