Eeeeeeeek!

Okay after taking that little break from the letters and launching the WordPress site I’m having this feeling like I missed you guys and I’m so excited to be sitting down to write this one.

Lol.

So I’m sitting in the corner at Miranda’s house (my house?) to type this one.

(I did just cancel my internet service at my “other” house, so, uh… there’s that).

We’ve been moving furniture around a lot.

Turning this particular desk 90 degrees and swapping one of Miranda’s dilapidated vintage chairs for one of my (smaller) dilapidated vintage chairs has made this one of my favorite spots to sit.

I actually feel like I can fully zone in here while Miranda is cooking in the kitchen.

One of the coolest things about living together so far has been exactly that: we can be in the same tiny apartment yet completely in our own worlds.

It’s one of the coolest things ever.

Ahhhh and you can probably feel it but I’m just buzzing, buzzing, buzzing.

I’m buzzing with Love and Happiness.

Today was a beautiful day of aligned work and loving.

I have so many creative ideas.

I keep telling Miranda, “There’s so much I want to do!”

And it’s true.

I joined a Skool community for skateboarders today because I’ve been struck by this passionate urge to learn Backside Airs on vert (no matter how long it takes), which is a trick I’ve wanted to learn for years and years, but always kind of assumed that I never would.

But as I shared in my intro post within that Skool group, “I’ve been alive long enough to know that with enough time, practice, and repetitions, anything is possible”.

This even came up in my free meditation class today.

I shared an analogy of learning how to do barre chords on guitar for the first time. I tried over and over and over again and it truly seemed like an impossibility that I would ever learn how to do it.

And then one day…boom. The fingers land in the barre chord. Just like that.

It’s a miraculous moment when that happens.

I know I can learn backside airs.

I don’t even have to try to land them on the first session, let alone the first one hundred sessions. I just have to keep planting seeds. That’s it. That’s the whole thing.

We just have to keep planting seeds.
That’s it.
That’s the whole thing.
